CLASHING PRINTS

19:48

Here is a quick outfit post from a few weeks back. I apologize for the horrible quality and equally horrible mirror, I am still getting to grips with trying to take a self timed 'selfie' with my camera.

I am really liking clashing prints at the moment. I've always thought of it as a somewhat fashion crime, but when done properly I think it can really work. This was just a last minute outfit for a few casual drinks and a meal out with some friends, hence the flat shoes. I would much rather a heel with these kind of ankle graze pants, but being a good 7 inches taller than most of my friends in flats, I thought this was the safest option. For a week night at least...

This jade green jacquard blazer from Zara was a great sale buy. It just adds a great injection of colour to an outfit and I actually think it goes with most clothes. I think this is going to be a winter wardrobe saver as well, as I am trying to sway my self away from black. Although you can never have too much black, I don't think.

This leather whip-stitch belt from BCBG is just a must in my wardrobe at the moment. This is one of my bargains I picked up in America when I went back in June. I was so happy to have found it on the off chance after seeing it on the beautiful Olivia Palermo, and it just so happened to be in the sale as well. God I miss Florida.
