Coat - ASOS Jumper - Topshop Trousers - Topshop Shoes - Zara Bag - Givenchy
I think this may just be one of those 'man-repeller' type outfits, judging by my boyfriends reaction, but that's just fashion for you I guess. And sometimes you just have to not care what other people may think. I think the oversized coat trend can be quite tricky to pull off; sometimes you can end up looking a bit too 'Professor Snape'. However, if bought at the right length and style suited to your body shape, they can really make an outfit.
I have had this ASOS camel oversized coat for a while now and always had the intention of getting a pair of matching pants, so when I saw these in Topshop I knew they would be perfect. I think the length of this coat is just right for me, what with me being taller its just the length I was looking for. And its all about shoulder surfing this season; having your arms inside your sleeves just doesn't quite cut it these days. The Topshop pants are a pretty close match too, so I just had to get these. Breaking up this camel two piece with a pastel jumper makes it a little less grandma-ish, and this pretty lilac is one of my new favourite spring colours.
After originally being unsure about Mules, I have to say now I literally don't want to take them off! I think they go with every outfit style. I would feature them in every outfit post at the moment if I could. But I won't put you guys through that...
Also, I am going to pester all my amazing followers again to please nominate me for the Company Style Blogger Awards 2014. I am entering the Best Personal Style Blogger - Newcomer category and it would make my year if you guys could nominate me for this :). Click HERE to do it!
