Lace up Leopard

Jeans - Pretty Little Thing*  Jumper - Pretty Little Thing*  Shoes - Dune

Even though I don't tend to wear many flats in my blog posts, you will usually find me in a pair of flats. Sometimes, I think flat shoes can look even more chic than heels, and whilst I would love to wear heels every day, I don't feel comfortable in them all the time due to my height. So flat shoes are a godsend to me. And brogues are EVERYWHERE at the moment.

These leopard print pointed beauties I picked up on ASOS a couple of weeks ago are definitely my new staple shoe. Pointed flats are majorly big at the moment, and this, along with the leopard print pony fur, it's just a whole lot of my favourite things mixed together. I love them, and the slight heel makes them feel that little bit more dressy. Now, there is one bad point about these shoes, and I will regrettably admit, they are murder. Worse than any heels I have worn in my life, the pain after 20 minutes (if that) of wearing these for the first time resulted in me sitting in the street practically unable to move. But, this was my first wear, with no breaking in, so I guess I can forgive them and give them another whirl soon when my feet have been nursed back to health.

These gorgeous ripped 'girlfriend' style jeans are my new favourites; I've barely taken them off since I got them! The girlfriend style seems to be a little less baggy than the typical boyfriend style, so they feel that little bit more feminine. Paired with a plain knit and some statement shoes, and that's the outfit completed. And they are such a bargain for jeans, I would definitely recommend checking out Pretty Little Thing. I have my eye on this mustard beauty from them next, so Olivia Palermo-esque!

  1. Gorgeous shoes, shame they are uncomfortable I do love a bit of animal print :)

  2. Love the transparency, it's my favorite color.

  3. I didn't even know girlfriend jeans were a thing! But these are great, I must investigate the style further!
